1. Knowledge of business concepts normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or economics and two to four years of related experience.
2. Excellent human relations skills in dealing with internal customers, external vendors and other departments.
3. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of corporate financial data.
4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (primarily Excel, Access and Word.) Ability to learn and utilize web-based systems.
Assist in the analysis, development and implementation of the fleet and procurement strategy at MDU Resources Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Develop specifications, analyze cost and communicate options to company fleet, purchasing and operations decision makers. Coordinate asset transfers, acquisitions and disposal of company assets.
