Requirements:
1. Knowledge of electrical control circuits. 2. Background in instrumentation preferred. 3. Journeyman license preferred. 4. Must be comfortable with the operation of personal computers. Experience with automation programs is required. 5. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred. 6. Ability to identify problems, generate ideas, and implement solutions to new and existing problems. 7. Ability to perform heavy physical activity associated with regular job responsibilities, stand for long periods, climb to heights greater than 50 ft, and lift up to 50 pounds. 8. Ability to work in extreme heat, cold, wind, and other weather conditions for extended periods. 9. Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork, and planning & organization skills. 10. Self-starting and motivated to learn and perform is a must.
Job Description:
1. Provide electrical support for the field operations. 2. Install explosion proof electrical installations. 3. Trouble shooting power lines, transformers and substations. 4. Perform circuit connections for lighting, single and three phase motors and transformers. 5. Troubleshooting and safely working on de-energized and energized equipment. 6. Performing some scheduled preventative maintenance and documenting in computer based data base. 7. Reading and updating electrical one line diagrams to as built status. 8. Install and operate radio controlled systems.
