Position Overview
Blue Flint Ethanol has an opening for a full-time opening in our Commodities Department. This position will be responsible for supervising and directing employees, and executing daily operations associated with handling outgoing and incoming corn, ethanol and related products. This position adheres and implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), trains staff on heavy equipment and documents and reports environmental or safety issues. This position will be working outdoors and requires climbing ladders, stairs, lifting and working around grain dust. This position requires using a skid steer, front-end loader, locomotive, mobile rail car switching unit and other heavy equipment as needed. Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills needed.

Work schedule will primarily be day shift, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Must have the flexibility to work longer hours and on weekends when appropriate.


Job Description:
Minimum Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent.

All employment offers will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and a federal and state background check.

Preferred Qualification:
The preferred applicant will have the following:
• Prior grain handling experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Mechanical or equipment maintenance experience
• Supervisory experience
• Experience training, coordinating and scheduling employees and daily tasks
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Certificate in Power and Process Technology or other Technical Vocation
