Requirements:
Must possess working knowledge of electric utility operations at a level normally acquired through completion of a four-year degree in engineering; and seven years of progressively responsible experience in utility operations, electric distribution and transmission planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance, customer service and employee relations.
Key Skills & Competencies: • Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills. • Ability to remain calm and prioritize work during stressful situations. • Strong analytical ability. • Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and Mobile applications. • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Ability to use discretionary judgment during emergency situations.
Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) certification, management training, and 10 years experience in electric distribution and transmission work.
• Must have a valid driver's license. • May be required to possess or acquire a valid commercial motor vehicle driver's license appropriate for the position. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered. Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.

Job Description:
Provides leadership to engineering, construction and local electric meter department at various Districts within the Region. Responsible for construction, operation, and maintenance of the electric transmission and distribution systems, and providing safe, reliable, economic service to our customers in a manner that conforms to codes, safety standards, budgets, customer expectations, and accounting requirements.
