Minimum Requirements: PhD in Computer Science or a closely related area. Experience or other evidence of potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching, research and service. Effective oral and written communication skills. Preferred Requirements: Experience or other evidence of potential for excellence in research in software engineering, networks, security or closely related areas. Experience or other evidence of potential for competitive grant application. Refereed publications. Experience with designing and developing curriculum. Applicants seeking the rank of Associate Professor must demonstrate direct evidence of their ability to consistently excel in teaching, research and service.
Job Description:
Assume sole responsibility for teaching courses in the Computer Science Department as assigned by the department head. Develop and maintain an independent research program. Regularly submit articles for publication and research proposals and serve as advisor for students. Carry out committee work and other service activities.
