Job Description:
TMI Communications of Fargo is seeking a Telecommunications Service and Install Technician to join their team! This position is responsible for Ensuring complete customer satisfaction during the completion of service work orders and while installing new telecommunications systems by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:
Field Technician
• Travels to hotels throughout the US to install telecommunications equipment in hotels.
• Installs telecommunications equipment according to company and manufacturer standards.
• Installs smaller systems independently or with support
• Assists on the installation of large systems
• Inspects materials on site for damage and accuracy.
• Verifies and labels all CO lines.
• Tests installed equipment to ensure proper working order.
• Interfaces the communication equipment to third party devices.
• Works with appropriate management personnel to establish timeline for installation and training.
• Provides training to hotel staff on equipment use and maintenance.
• Returns unused equipment to TMI Communications via approved shipping methods.
• Ensures work area is neat and free from debris upon completion of install.

Customer Service Technician• Receives work orders and reviews property's past work order history.
• Performs routine work orders with some assistance
• Contacts the property and verifies the reported problems exist; extracts details about the problem to aid in development of solution.
• Develops several solutions and submits solution plan for approval
• Implements the appropriate solution and tests the results.
• Dispatches Third party vendors to complete work required on site.
• Reviews vendor invoice to determine the accuracy of billing.
• Responds to questions regarding work performed by TMI Communications or the on-site vendor; provides details as necessary.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience:
To be successful in this position requires an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or up to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
