Requirements: TMI Hospitality of Fargo is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team! This position is responsible for supporting all functions of Human Resources including Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations, Training and Recruiting.
Essential Functions: The Human Resources Coordinator completes the following essential job functions within established organizational and department policies, procedures, deadlines and budget parameters.
a. Gathers information from properties on any separations. b. Copies all separation or termination information and forward to third party vendors. c. Acts as liaison with third-party vendors in unemployment claim processes, including the appeals process. d. Completes State Unemployment audits as they occur. e. Assist recruiters with job postings, including invoicing and creating quarterly source reports. f. Creates monthly recruiting metric reports. g. Coordinate interviews and other appointments for the recruiting team. h. Completes registration and prepares recruiting items for Career Fairs. i. Process internal notifications for all corporate hires. j. Conduct detailed reference checks and notify recruiters of any areas for concern. k. Assist in maintaining and updating employee records. l. Send appropriate paperwork to qualifying employees as required by the Family and Medical Leave Act and/or TMI Hospitality Unpaid Leaves of Absence program. m. Answer inquiries regarding the Family and Medical Leave Act and TMI Hospitality Unpaid Leave program. n. Document all necessary information into Leave Database and payroll timekeeping system. o. Assist in coordinating new employee orientation. p. Liaise with employees on a variety of personnel and compliance matters. q. Assist in facilitating the annual performance review process. r. Assist in gathering facts and data for workplace investigations. s. Assist in coordinating annual benefit open enrollment. t. Maintain inventory and formatting of HR related documents, policies, and job descriptions. u. Schedule exit interviews and occasionally conduct exit interviews as needed. v. Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs. w. Coordinate meetings and seminars for members of the HR department. x. Assist in the facilitation of Corporate Giving and Employee Appreciation programs. y. Periodically assists in fielding departmental phone calls and ans ering basic employee questions. z. Demonstrate knowledge of human resources policies and procedures. aa. Assist with general duties including: filing, copying, typing, faxing, distribution, mailing and other administrative duties and special projects as assigned. Education, Experience: To be successful in this position requires an Associates degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent, and two to three years of related experience.
