Job Description:
TMI Hospitality of Fargo is seeking a Systems Administrator II to join their team! This position is responsible is responsible for the management of the server infrastructure and resolving escalated support issues. This position will support Windows Server 2008, Active Directory, Exchange 2010, SQL 2008, VMware and backup technologies, and works closely with other members of the IT team to ensure priorities and goals are met.

Essential Functions:
•Provide problem analysis and problem resolution
•Provide support for escalated issues
•Manage the resolution of system related issues
•Advanced knowledge and ability to administer and support the systems infrastructure including but not limited to: Windows Server 2008, Exchange 2010, SQL 2008
•Manage SharePoint 2010 infrastructure including backups and application administration
•Ability to troubleshoot mail flow and routing issues
•Advanced knowledge of Active Directory including but not limited to: Schema, LDAP, Replication, Global Catalogs, Operations Masters, Organizational Unit structure and Group Policies,
•Demonstrate knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wireless (802.11a/b/g)
•Knowledge of EMC, VMware and Cisco voice and network infrastructure a plus
•Monitor and administer backups and restorations utilizing tapeless backup
•Responsiveness to alerts from monitoring systems
•Administers, maintains and implements policies related to the server and server technology infrastructure
•Interacts with managers, their staff, and various departments/teams to assist in the planning and the setting of priorities, and systems and/or interface related projects and modifications
•Document system structure, performance, process and changes
•Strong customer service skills
•Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
•Ability to rapidly learn new technologies
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Other duties as assigned or needed

Education, Experience:To be successful in this position the candidate is required to have education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, plus five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2008, Active Directory, Exchange 2010, SQL 2008, VMware and backup technologies is required as well as strong analytical and documentation skills. Knowledge of information systems policies and procedures, computer science concepts, windows based applications, client/server architecture, networking and security. Skill in gathering information about customer needs and converting it into specifications, preparing flow charts and defining problem solutions. Ability to exercise leadership skills, initiative, judgment, and decision-making. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, information technology staff, vendors and professional contacts. Ability to communicate clearly and to maintain strict confidentiality.
