Requirements:
Knowledge of information technology concepts and principles normally obtained though a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of four years experience in information technology providing technical support for the hardware, operating systems software, security systems, and file structures for an IT infrastructure that is the same as or similar to the company's IT infrastructure. Strong analytical/organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Job Description:
Responsible for the monitoring, control, and development of processes for the implementation of Corporate IT security within the framework of Enterprise Technology Services. Participates with other IT personnel in the analysis, selection, monitoring, and implementation of new security initiatives using industry standard best practices and corporate policy. Analysis of vulnerability warnings, security advisories, and day to day risks. Dissemination of information to affected personnel. Verification of security controls including security patching and anti-virus. Develop Policies and Procedures for protection of the Corporate IT infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of three years experience demonstrating IT security responsibilities is preferred. Knowledge and/or experience in security concepts across a broad range of IT areas including information security program development, information security policies, user awareness programs, vulnerability assessment, secure data communications, and securing operating systems. Knowledge and or experience in the use of monitoring firewalls, anti-spam, anti-virus, IPS, and Internet blocking hardware and/or software solutions a plus. CISSP or other information security certifications a plus. Computer Forensics experience helpful.
