Salary:
Journeyman: $14.00

Location:
Rhame, ND

Requirements:
High school education and valid motor vehicle driver's license. Requires a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Prefer applicant that has completed at least one academic year of a formal wind energy program.

Additional Information:
Activities require work at various heights up to around 265 feet and applicant may be required to climb daily in performance of work duties. In addition, the applicant will be require to successfully complete an on site Rope and Repelling class.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered. Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.

Daily reporting location is MDU's Cedar Hills Facility located approx. 4 miles West of Rhame ND.

Starting date Approx. May 14, 2012.

Job Description:
Safely perform all duties assigned by supervisory personnel within the department. Duties to include assisting wind technicians with their normal maintenance activities dealing with MDU's wind facilities. Various activities associated with equipment maintenance such as greasing, cleaning, and bolt tensioning will be required to be performed. Nothing in this job summary restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
