Sara and Eric Watson

Culinary
After two years of operation, Mosaic Foods employs six to eight full-time staff and 20 part-time employees.
After graduating from culinary school in Colorado, Sara and Eric Watson chose North Dakota as the ideal location for opening Mosaic Foods, their upscale catering company.

"My family is here and they provide a great support network that we need to run our business and help our three kids."

As outdoors and arts enthusiasts, the Watsons appreciate the wide variety of cultural events the area has to offer and the fact they can access the countryside from the city in 10 minutes flat.

"The opportunities in Fargo are immense- great dining, art museums, theaters, concerts, opera, symphony- all of the things of a big city, but North Dakota never feels overcrowded," Sarah says.

After two years of operation, Mosaic Foods employs six to eight full-time staff and 20 part-time employees. The business is also an active member of the Downtown Community Partnership.

"We love being part of the renaissance of downtown Fargo. It is so great to be around at noon to see the hustle and bustle of people."
