Job Description:
Spherion Staffing is looking for an experienced general manager to take charge of day to day operations of a restaurant. This role will be tasked with order management duties, hiring and firing of staff, creating new ideas for menu, sales aspects - booking banquets, procurement of goods (food/drink/etc).

We’re specifically looking for someone who can come into the business with fresh, creative ideas for both the menu options and for the atmosphere as a whole. If you’re looking to expand on your creativity and think outside of the box, this might be the perfect role for you.


Responsibilities:

• Provide a quality product and guest service experience that delivers total guest satisfaction
• Respond positively and quickly to guest complaints
• Hire high quality people who demonstrate and ensure consistent guest satisfaction
• Ensures all team members are trained, motivated and empowered to deliver total guest satisfaction
• Maintain the restaurant at the level necessary to meet or exceed the company
• standards for Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Administration (QSCA)
• Utilizes labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high quality of QSCA
• Continuously improves the skills, knowledge and morale of all team members
• Maximize financial performance and profit
• Develop and executes the business plan (key elements include: fiscal responsibilities, personnel planning and local marketing)
• Serve as a role model and sets a positive example for the entire team in all aspects of business and personnel management
• Enforces all labor laws (federal, state and local)
• Follows procedures to maintain the safety and security of all team members, guests and company assets (building, cash, equipment, supplies)
• Upholds company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements


Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferable
• Good verbal and written communication skills; is capable of communicating effectively with guests and co-workers
• 2-3 years in restaurant management positions
• Must have a telephone or other reliable method of communicating with all team members
• Must be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Maintain an open door policy
