Job Description:
A postdoctoral position in the Department of Physics is available to join the single molecule biophysics research group of Dr. Choi at North Dakota State University. The research challenge will be to probe and to understand kinetic mechanisms of enzymes using our single-molecule nanocircuit approach. Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. degree in experimental physics, biochemistry, or biophysics. Background in optical imaging techniques including fluorescence and FRET with biological materials, biosensing, carbon nanotube or graphene FET electronics, and interdisciplinary research are preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience. The term of appointment is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory progress and availability of funding.
