Job Description:
Our client, a local manufacturing company has a need for a 3rd shift Electronics Testing Technician. This position will monitor functioning lab tests, perform simple corrective actions and will contact the appropriate individual when required. Qualified applicants will work with test engineers to build, modify and debug test systems and related equipment.

3rd Shift: 10PM-6AM (Sun-Thurs). Weekend shifts as needed to support business needs (Fri-Sun)

Pay $19-21/hour DOE

Responsibilities:
• Provide basic line support to the production floor, engineers, and/or department
• Order supplies needed to build and maintain test systems
• Build or modify test systems as specified
• Perform basic level troubleshooting by utilizing technical knowledge and interdepartmental contacts
• Assist in producing analysis and reports
• Inform supervisor of process or design problems and assist in the corrective action


Requirements:
Requirements:
• A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience
• Minimum of one year of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and word processing
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components
• Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc
• Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause
• Ability to read basic engineering documents
• Maintain necessary product records and documentation
• Ability to comprehend product/process component datasheets
• Ability to assemble and disassemble products
• Looking for candidates that can troubleshoot boards down to the component level
• ASTM approved safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection required
