Job Description:
Spherion Staffing has an opening for a Payment Processing Support Specialist with a local client in Fargo. In this role you will provide top-notch customer service for POS systems by phone, email, and/or chat; handle customer support for credit card processing and receive and dispatch customer issues.
Qualified applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in MS Office Suite and must have prior experience with payment processing, POS or financial systems.

Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm
Pay $13-15/hour DOE


Responsibilities:
• Deliver top-notch customer service by phone, email, and/or chat
• Receive and dispatch customer issues — triage, scrub, assign, and manage issues using an online ticketing system
• Handle customer support for credit card processing, ACH, payment gateway, credit card terminal setup, and terminal issues
• Provide customer training for payment gateway and PCI compliance
• Coordinate with vendors and third party providers to troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues
• Update knowledge base and process documentation
• Follow up promptly on critical issues and manage a schedule to assign support resources
• Provide emergency on-call response as needed

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple projects at once
• Working knowledge of office software (MS Office or G Suite)
• Prior experience with payment processing, point-of-sale, or financial systems is a plus
• Knowledge of customer service or PSA/CRM software (ConnectWise, Autotask, ZenDesk, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus
• The ideal candidate is friendly, detail oriented, empathetic, helpful, and able to remain calm in stressful situations
• Must be highly driven to put customers first, persistent in troubleshooting, and knowledgeable enough to tackle complex technical challenges
