Job Description:
Position Description & Details:
The Office of Admission is seeking an organized, energetic, creative and collaborative team member to assist in planning and implementing recruitment activities for first-year students. Primary responsibilities include outreach and communication to prospective students, developing and managing recruitment programs or events, conducting campus visit interviews with prospective students and family members, and managing a recruitment territory consisting of college fairs and high school visits.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Completed Bachelor’s degree
• One year related experience
• Exceptional written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills
• Strong customer service experience/skills
• Demonstrated experience establishing rapport and building relationships
• Demonstrated ability in planning and organizing programs or events
• Ability to effectively and efficiently plan and execute projects simultaneously
• Innovative, energetic, and committed to working in a team environment
• Willingness to travel regionally and work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from NDSU OR Strong familiarity w/NDSU programs
• Experience working in recruitment and admission at a regionally accredited college or university
• Experience presenting to large audiences in professional or persuasive settings
• Experience working with high school students
• Demonstrate a commitment to recruiting a diverse student population
