Job Description:
The individual in this position is part of the Learning and Applied Innovation Center (LAIC) team that supports NDSU’s instructional design, instructional technologies and media services. This involves supporting faculty using instructional design and best practices to develop quality teaching methods and courses in face-to-face, online, blended and hybrid learning environments, as well as researching, analyzing, designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting instructional technology solutions. The individual in this position also helps design and implement training, and assists with media projects for students, faculty and staff.

Work Schedule:
40 hrs/wk; M-F, 8-5 or 7:30-4 pm

Advertised Salary:
Commensurate with experience

Minimum Qualifications:
-Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or equivalent field must be completed within 18 months after the first day of employment (unofficial transcripts must be provided to show equivalent degree)
-Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills
-Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
-Demonstrated clear written and oral communication skills
-Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
-Completed Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or equivalent field (unofficial transcripts must be provided to show equivalent degree)
-Experience with a Learning Management System
-Experience working in higher education
-Faculty and/or staff development experience
-Experience leading workshops and/or training sessions
-Ability to plan, manage and organize multiple project at a time
-Ability to provide high level of customer service a with a positive, energetic outlook
