Job Description:
Responsibilities:

The faculty member is expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses, be involved in course and/or curriculum development, support and mentor graduate and undergraduate students, develop a strong research program funded by external sources, and provide service to the department, college, and university, as well as to the profession, along with other activities typical for a tenure-track faculty.

Work Schedule:

TBD, based upon the needs of the Computer Science Department and the students

Advertised Salary:

$75,000-$85,000

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field

Experience or other evidence of potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching

Experience or other evidence of potential for excellence in research

Effective oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in software engineering research

Professional software development experience

Experience with framework- and/or cloud-based software development environments

Experience teaching a variety of software engineering topics

Evidence of potential for guiding graduate students

Evidence of potential for mentoring undergraduate students
