Job Description:
Assist the Emergency Manager/Communications Administrator in providing the coordination of emergency planning, training and exercises. Work with local government officials, healthcare providers, public safety and state officials to assist in the development, maintenance and continuity of all emergency operation plans. Assist with the planning, coordination and supervision of the Stutsman County Communication Center and 9-1-1 operations.

Minimum experience and/or training requirements:
Position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in public/business administration, emergency management or related field plus one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience at the time of hire. Knowledge of effectively working with the public, 9-1-1 operations, emergency management, public safety communications, budgeting, problem resolution and public administration are important. Must have a valid driver’s license.
