$50,000 - $69,999

Job Description:
Responsibilities: Conduct a nationally/internationally recognized research program; attend technical meetings and present research results; prepare research results for publication; submit reports to research sponsors as required; monitor and control research group expenditures consistent with individual research grant funding; actively seek funding for research activities.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Coatings and Polymeric Materials or equivalent; demonstrated expertise in coatings, corrosion, electrochemistry, methods of assessing corrosion; record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, experience working in an industrial setting; Effecitve oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: At least 10 years research experience past highest degree; project management experience; classroom teaching experience; experience writing research proposals.
