Job Description:
Position Description & Details: 
Responsible for Architectural drafting, design, and specification writing, and securing bids for small construction projects at the NDAES. Also responsible for survey and utility map maintenance for NDAES property .  Maintain file system of drawings and specs of past projects.  Responsible for supervision of outside contractors on construction projects. Responsible for performing construction and maintenance of farm buildings owned by NDAES. Along with other duties assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities:
Survey and prepare site plans, utility maps and topographic of AES property and respond to "one call" locates. Supervise and manage construction projects of outside contractors and correct contractors as needed. Perform small construction and maintenanance projects to include purchasing materials and scheduling project completion. Help identify unsafe working conditions. 

Work Schedule:
M-F 7:30am-4:00pm

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: 
AA Degree in Drafting, or Construction related,(carpentry, construction management, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:
Architectual drafting, construction management or similar. Computer aided drafting.
