Position Description & Details:
The Technical Services Manager position serves to leverage technological opportunities to the benefit of the University through the functions of the Division of Finance and Administration by assisting with researching, initiating and developing campus-wide technology projects; providing recommendations for gains in business process efficiency; delivering analyses for data driven decisions; and supporting the maintenance and development of the division’s essential technology related campus services.
*Develop and support databases information systems and web/content management systems for the Division of Finance and Administration. Assist with other departments across the institutions in a similar capacity as needed.
*Recommend, design and implement new streamlined methodologies for processing and reporting information to internal and external customers.
*Assist in analysis and proposal of alternative business processes and advise and assist in implementation of new ones.
*Assist the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Finance and Administration for support with IT auxiliary operations.
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Commensurate with experience; base salary is $75,000

*Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business Administration, MIS, MIT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics or related area
*3+ years directly related work experience
*Project management experience with ability to quickly re-prioritize based on institutional needs
*Experience coordinating, updating and maintaining multiple websites
*Experience developing, maintaining and troubleshooting relational databases
*Demonstrated ability to identify and initiate enterprise-wide efficiency improvements to serve a broad customer base
*Experience writing queries and applying conditional logic in business rules/decisions
*Strong Microsoft Excel skills to include custom formulas, VBA programming, and macro writing
*Demonstrated experience analyzing large datasets for making objective data-driven decisions
*Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external constituents
*Consistent demonstration of self-motivation and self-direction
*Experience working with Power BI
*Higher education work experience
*Experience as a technology trainer
