Job Description:
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others. Supports the operation, maintenance and construction of company assets, facilities and services for MDU Resources Group and the MDU Utilities Group. Responsible for the award and administration of pre-negotiated or negotiation of contracts for the acquisition of services and materials, including agreements for the construction of natural gas pipelines and related facilities and electric transmission and substation facilities. Coordinate and consult with legal, risk, safety, engineering, regulatory and district personnel in the development of these agreements. Administer and coordinate the contract bidding process through final contract completion and document closeout. Issue and maintain complete and accurate records for all contracted materials and services including executed contracts, purchase orders, modifications/change orders/amendments, insurance, contractor qualifications, correspondence, and entries into current business system(s).
