Position Description & Details:
The College of Science and Math Business Center is comprised of a team of staff who work closely together to oversee all budget, accounting, and HR/Payroll functions for the nine departments of the College. The account technician provides support to multiple departments in the form of vendor account maintenance, minor and major purchases, paying invoices, and preparing/submitting reimbursements. This position also manages time slip payroll and department purchase cards. The account technician serves as a source of accounting policy and procedural knowledge; therefore, problem solving and strong attention to detail are essential to this role. In addition, the ability to communicate effectively, to be flexible, and exhibit a positive and professional attitude directly contributes to the success of the entire team.

Advertised Salary: $38,000+/year

*Knowledge of accounting procedures
*1-2 years of experience working in an accounting or purchasing atmosphere
