Position Description & Details:
This position is responsible for leading, supporting and developing employees in the NDSU Dining department. The individual in this position will be responsible for operating equipment, developing recipes, producing quality products, ensuring the safety and sanitation standards are being met all while providing excellent customer service to our students, visitors, coworkers and management.
Perform all necessary duties to prepare and serve food to customers. Lead, develop, supervise and support production staff. Executes all necessary tasks to assure a high degree of cleanliness, quality and sanitation in food production and food service areas. Maintains all equipment used at workstations in an acceptable and sanitary condition.
Monday - Friday with weekend rotation schedule. 10:30am to 7:00pm
Advertised Salary: $16.50/hr +

*Minimum 3 years cooking experience in a food service operation or its equivalent
*Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a food service operation
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Excellent customer service skills
*Good oral and written communication skills
*Ability to contribute to a positive and productive team environment
*Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and email
*College or University food service experience preferred
*1 year experience in a large commercial food service operation preferred
*Food Safety Certification preferred
