Job Description:

Position Description & Details:
This position is located in the Payroll Services Office, working closely with Human Resources departments from multiple campuses and third party vendors to manage employee deductions and vendor payments of various employee benefits.

*Coordination and administration of payroll benefit deductions, retirement plans and general deductions for employees from multiple campuses
*Acquire and maintain employee benefit records for processing appropriate payroll deductions
*Reconcile and process benefit payments to multiple third party vendors
*Manage all aspects of Benefits Administration processing for all employees in the HCM system 
*Serve as a liaison between employees and vendors to resolve benefit related issues
*Act as a resource to the Shared Services group to ensure seamless benefit administration and collaborated efforts of each University
*Enter, proof and adjust all benefit deductions, including annual enrollment
*Prepare correspondence and invoices to employees to resolve premium discrepancies
*Ensure practices are in accordance with NDUS human resources and payroll policies, procedures and federal and state guidelines pertaining to benefits, deductions and payments

Work Schedule:
M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm  (Summers and Academic Breaks (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Advertised Salary:
$40,000.00 +/year

Minimum Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree with 5 years of related experience
*2 years of related Payroll/Benefit or Accounting experience
*Proficient in Word and Excel
*Effective written and oral communication skills
*Proven Customer Service Skills

Preferred Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting
*CPA, CPP or Certificate in Benefit Plan Administration
*Peoplesoft HCM or Finance experience
*Experience in Outlook
