Position Description & Details:
The Grant & Contract Officer position provides fund accounting set up of new sponsored awards, financial reporting and billing to sponsors, budget review and assistance to faculty and departmental personnel. The position also audits expenditures for Grant & Contract awards and administrative support.
Responsible for financial administration of University sponsored agreements received from federal and non-federal sources. Audit grant expenditures. Manage restricted gift funds. Provide administrative support.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 (Academic Year); 7:30 - 4:00 (Summer)
Advertised Salary: $57,000+/year

*Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field (or equivalent)
*3 years related experience
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
*Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
*Experience with University accounting systems
*Knowledge of grants & contracts administration
*Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance system
