The Account Technician performs all necessary duties to coordinate, manage and maintain meal plans. This position is also responsible for processing accounts payable, catering invoices and is the Receptionist for the NDSU Dining Administration Office. This position also provides support and assistance to the Dining Technical Services Manager in various software applications and programs.

*Meal plan administrator for all Dining meal plans
*Assist with accounts payable, purchasing cards, catering invoicing and software program administration
*Perform receptionist and administrative duties for the Dining Administrative Office
Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Summer and break schedules vary. Occasional evening/weekend.
Advertised Salary: $42,000+ includes comprehensive benefit package

*2+ years accounts payable experience or combination of education and experience
*Two years experience in administrative and information system duties.
*Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
*Ability to work with a team to achieve desired outcome
*Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills
*Strong customer service skills
*Strong analytical/problem solving skills
*Attention to detail
*2 year degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Business Management preferred
*Knowledge of meal plan management software preferred
*Customer Service experience preferred
*Peoplesoft or other Financial software experience preferred
