Job Description:

This position will provide basic administrative support for the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering. The primary responsibilities for this position include management of all research grants, support for research projects and proposals, management of research/teaching labs, departmental equipment and inventory records, and other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:
M-F, 8-5

Annual Salary:
$40,000+/year

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
*Two-year college degree in the related field (e.g., business and accounting).
*Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Two-year experience in the related work.
*Demonstrated skills and experience in research grants management.
*Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
*Bachelor’s degree or equivalence in the related field.
*Experience with NDSU policies and procedures.
*Experience with NDUS/NDSU management systems (e.g., PeopleSoft and Novelution).
*University working experience.
