The Office of Admission is seeking an organized, energetic, creative and collaborative individual to serve as Transfer Admission Counselor. This position assists in planning and implementing recruitment activities for incoming transfer students. Primary responsibilities include managing a recruitment territory and traveling to college fairs and college visits in the region, developing and managing recruitment programs, and conducting campus visit interviews with prospective students and family members.

*Completed bachelor’s degree
*Exceptional written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills
*Strong customer service experience/skills
*Demonstrated experience establishing rapport and building relationships

*Ability to effectively and efficiently plan and execute projects simultaneously
*Innovative, energetic, and committed to working in a team environment
*Willingness to travel regionally and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and overnight travel
*Valid driver's license
*Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
*One year related experience
*Experience working with college and high school students
*Experience presenting to large audiences in professional or persuasive settings
*Experience working in recruitment and admission at a regionally accredited public college or university
*Demonstrated ability in planning and organizing events
*Bachelor's degree from NDSU OR Strong familiarity w/NDSU programs
