Job Description:
Position Description:

The postdoctoral fellow will support the design and execution of research projects on nutritional physiology and metabolism in ruminants.

Overall Responsibilities:

Develop and execute research plans that support the research program objectives
Design and execute tasks to support research objectives including laboratory analyses, animal experimentation, data analysis, manuscript preparation, etc.

Responsibilities:

Develop research projects, align objectives, and execute projects.
Write detailed protocols, final reports, technical bulletins, and peer-reviewed manuscripts for research outputs
Laboratory and statistical analyses
Assist with graduate student and staff training
Analyze, communicate, and publish outcomes from research projects

Required Experience and Skills:

PhD in Animal Science with significant training in statistics
Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate and effectively work within cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desired Experience and Skills:

Research experience with small ruminants and cattle
Laboratory analyses
Advanced statistical expertise
