Job Description:
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North Dakota State University invites applications for a full time, benefited, post-doctoral position, with appointment beginning on or after Mach 1st, 2022. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Biology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related field. They must have a strong record of scholarship with publications, possess good interpersonal skills, effective written and oral communication skills.

The position is initially for 1 year and renewable up to 2 more years based on the candidate’s performance and availability of funds. The selected candidate will work under the mentorship of Dr. Sathish Venkatachalem, on a NIH funded or other related research focusing on translational lung/respiratory physiology and pharmacology research. Preference will be given to applicants with training and research expertise in the broad areas of Cellular Physiology, biochemistry, molecular Biology and live cell imaging. The successful candidate is expected to design and perform experiments independently and also work collaboratively with other fellows and graduate students.
