Job Description:
The Department of Public Health (DPH) at North Dakota State University invites applicants for a project manager for a full-time grant funded position through June 2023 with continuation depending on performance and availability of funding.

This person will primarily oversee a subcontracted project from the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to study the epidemiology of COVID-19 in North Dakota. As part of the NDDoH’s Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity (ELC) for Infectious Diseases grant, NDSU and the University of North Dakota have partnered to study SARS-CoV-2 infection in a convenience sample of North Dakota households. This will be accomplished by performing laboratory tests and surveys on adult household members to establish the point prevalence and the cumulative incidence of infection with SARS-CoV-2 over successive waves through 2022-2023. This project will also assess the utility and accuracy of serology testing to define the cumulative incidence of infection in a population through comparison with a measure of T-cell immunity. In addition, it will examine sociodemographic risk factors, exposures, and access to testing.
